    You should run in Illinois in the spring when it is not too hot. For example there is the Abe Lincoln Half Marathon in Springfield, IL (the states capitol) that has an awesome course and lots of history. The race is always the first weekend in April so maybe you can make it next year! 😉

      Thanks, Lindsay!! My cousin and his family live just outside of Chicago so they might disown me if I don’t choose a race that’s close to them and stay with them at their home!! 😂😂

    Maybe one day you will come to Illinois to race. There are a ton of half marathons is Chicago. BUT I think the best races are the smaller ones in central IL. For example the Abe Lincoln half marathon is the BEST. Its always the first weekend in April. 🙂
