Tuesdays are supposed to be team practice night on the rolling hills…but when I woke up this morning I realized I had a patient booked in early this evening so I wouldn’t be able to make it out to practice on time. Boo!
So I squeezed in a workout this morning before work.
Started with a 5.5km warm-up along the river…very pretty this morning as it rained all day yesterday and last night and now everything looks so green and lush!
And then the workout. On this hill.
I swear. It seems like a 2 miles. But my garmin says it’s only 300m. And a 82 foot elevation gain. I did 6 hills with jog back active recovery. I was grateful that I didn’t have enough time to do any more repeats! Each hill was run at an average pace of 4:10min/km (6:41min/mi).
