Just a quick post today – am a facilitating a meeting most of the day.
Dinner last night was fabulous! So great to see the girls…but mostly little Emily!
And then my dinner…seriously LOVE SPICY THAI food!! Had this on rice. YUMMY!!
This morning was a track workout. It looks so beautiful there, right?
It’s funny how you forget the beauty the minute the workout starts:
3 x 400m @ 5k pace, on 1 minute rest
1 x 1200m @ 5k pace on 3 minutes rest
3 x 400m @ faster than 5k on 1 minute rest.
I know I say this every time, but I nearly died today. LOL!
First set of 400s (which is really 360 on my track):
1:24, 1:19, 1:17 (slightly concerned how I was going to do that faster for the last set of them)
Last set of 400s:
1:15, 1:14, 1:13
And I collapsed.
But I did it, right? And I smoked it as far as I was concerned!! WOOHOO!
I then “ran” home (doesn’t feel like running when you can barely feel your legs!!).
