I LOVED this article by Alex Hutchinson – “Recovery – More isn’t always better”

I truly believe this.  We have gone too far.  We are obsessed with recovery and in the end, we baby our bodies too much and risk impeding on growth and improvement.  Don’t get me wrong, just as the article says, there are times when taking care of your body is paramount to having a good race and staying healthy, but allowing our bodies to learn and adapt to stress is just as important.

This morning’s workout: easy 10k…with some Breaking Bad 🙂
