I live with Yoda.

I sometimes can’t help but pretend my dog is speaking to me like she’s Yoda.  This was last night’s conversation:

“You must unlearn what you have learned…have cookies after dinner I can”

I just love that face so much.

Last night I got NINE hours of sleep – woohoo!  I work 12:30-8:30pm today so I was able to sleep in until 6:30am this morning and when you go to sleep at 9:30pm, that makes 9 hours of blissful sleep! I usually try to get as close to 8 hours of sleep as possible, but 9 is rare. And I think that’s what made my “long” speed work amazing this morning!

Today’s workout:

5K warmup
800m, 2mins recovery
1200m, 2 mins recovery
1600m, 2 mins recovery
1200m, 2 mins recovery
800m, 2 mins recovery

Felt SUPER strong…and will feel like a million bucks for the rest of the day!
